Cart: Redeem points in the cart

Overview

With Love Loyalty you can let your customers redeem rewards right in the cart without using confusing widgets. This increases participation in the loyalty program and customer retention. Both cart drawer and cart pages are supported.

How it works?

Logged in customers will see their current loyalty point balance in the cart, if they click the "Rewards" button they'll be able to see the available rewards that they can redeem.


Once they redeem a reward they can choose to copy the discount code to use later or apply it to their current cart. Unused rewards that were redeemed will be available in the "Existing rewards" section on the modal for future use.


Logged out customers will see a message in the cart to log in for rewards. This can be hidden on the "Customize storefront > Cart: Earn and redeem points" page in the app admin.

How to set up

To enable point redemption in the cart just enable the Love Loyalty app embed the following way:

Open the theme editor
On the left click "App embeds"
Turn on the Love Loyalty app embed


Save the changes

If the app is not visible in the cart follow the steps in this article: App is not visible in cart

Change texts

You can change the texts of the cart embed in the app admin on the "Customize storefront > Cart: Earn and redeem points" page.
