Creating Loyalty Page

Overview

You can create a dedicated Loyalty Page for your loyalty program to encourage your customers to join the program. You can think about it as a "Landing page" for the loyalty program that you can link from anywhere on your website, emails and social media.

In a nutshell you can create a Loyalty Page the following way:

Create a new loyalty page template in the theme editor
Add the Love loyalty page app blocks to this template
In Online store > Pages create a new page and assign it to the template you created
(Optional) Add the loyalty page to your main menu

Creating the Loyalty page template

Follow these steps to create a new page template for your Loyalty Page:

Open the theme editor
In the top middle navigate to "Pages" and click the "Create template" button

Add a name to your template (this is not going to be visible for your customers)
Save the changes

Add the Love loyalty page app blocks to the template

Once you've created a new page template you need to add the Love Loyalty app blocks to it. We offer 4 app blocks that make up the Loyalty Page:

Love: Hero Banner - Shows a brief overview of the program and encourages new users to join the program. Logged in customers can see their point balance, the ways to redeem and ways to earn here //TODO: link articles
Love: How It Works - Explains how the loyalty program works in 3 easy steps
Love: Ways to Earn - Shows the ways to earn points you've set up in the app admin. Logged in customers can earn points here for social media actions and provide their birthday
Love: Ways to Redeem - Shows the ways to redeem rules you've set up in the app admin. Logged in customers can redeem rewards here

You can add these blocks the following way:

On the left in the theme editor click the "Add section" button then from the Apps tab select the "Love: Hero Banner" block

Once you've added the Hero Banner block you can click the "Add block" button in the "Apps" section to add the other app blocks as well

For the best look it is recommended to hide the Page title by hiding the "Page" section

Change the styling of the blocks to match your theme by clicking the name of the app block (eg.: Love: Hero Banner)

Save the changes

Create the Loyalty Page

Once you created the loyalty page template you'll need to create a "Page" that will be assigned to that template

Go to Online Store > Pages in the Shopify admin and click the "Add page" button in the top right

Add a name for your page and in the bottom left select the page template you created earlier

Save the changes

Congrats! Now your Loyalty Page is live on your website.

By default the page you created is only accessible by searching your website or via a the page link. It is recommended to add the Loyalty Page to your main navigation so your customers can easily access it.

You can do that the following way:

In the Shopify admin go to Content > Menus

Open the "Main menu" (or the "Footer menu" if you want to add it to the footer)
Click "Add menu item"
Provide the label for the menu item and then select the loyalty page that you created earlier

Save the changes

Changing the text on the Loyalty Page

You can customize the text that appears on the loyalty page in the app. Just go to the "Customize storefront > Dedicated Loyalty Page" page in the app.
