Set up your loyalty program



Welcome to Love Loyalty



In this article we'll walk you through how to set up your loyalty program to increase your returning customer base and the LTV (life-time value) of your customers.

With a loyalty program you can award loyalty points for customer for actions you would like them to take (eg.: placing an order, signing up or following on social media). Your customers can use their points to redeem discounts and rewards you set up in the app.

How to set up your loyalty program?



You can configure the settings of your loyalty program on the Loyalty page in the app admin.



The backbone of your loyalty program is the "Ways to earn points" and the "Ways to redeem points".

Ways to earn points

In the "Ways to earn points" section on the Loyalty program page you can add how your customers can earn points.

You can set up the following ways to earn points:

Place an order: Award points after the customer makes a purchase. Eg.: 10 points for every $1 spent, or 10 points per order placed. Find detailed setup steps here: Place an order earning rule
Sign up: Award points when a customer creates an account on your shop - it's a great way to incentivize joining the loyalty program. Find detailed setup steps here: Sign up earning rule
Social media action: Award loyalty points for customers after they make a social media action. Find detailed set up steps here: Social media earning rules
Birthday points: Award points to the customer on their birthday. Find detailed set up steps here: Birthday points earning rule

Ways to redeem points

In the "Ways to redeem points" section you can add the rewards you want to offer for points.

You can set up the following ways to redeem points:

Amount discount: Gives the customer an amount off the order total. For example: $10 off the order total or $1 off for every 1 point spent. Find detailed set up steps here: Amount discount
% off discount: Gives customer a % discount on the order total. For example: 5% off from the order total. Find detailed set up steps here: % off discount
Free shipping: Gives a free shipping discount for the customer. Find detailed set up steps here: Free shipping reward

You can configure as many rewards as you want. Once redeemed the discount can only be used once, however your customers can redeem as many rewards as they want (if they have enough loyalty points).
