Let's show your loyalty program on the storefront

In this article we'll walk you through on all the loyalty placements we offer and how to set them up.

To provide the perfect experience for your customers we offer 18 blocks to embed the app across the storefront so your customers can actually see your loyalty program. You can extend the following pages:

Checkout (Shopify Plus only)

Cart drawer & page

The cart block lets your customers see their current point balance and redeem their points in the cart.

The block can be activated by turning on the Love Loyalty app embed in the theme editor.

Dedicated Loyalty page

The dedicated loyalty page is a "Landing page" for the loyalty program that you can link to from anywhere on your website, emails and social media.

It consists of 4 app blocks:

Love: Hero Banner - Shows a brief overview of the program and encourages new users to join the program. Logged in customers can see their point balance, the ways to earn and ways to redeem here
Love: How It Works - Explains how the loyalty program works in 3 easy steps
Love: Ways to Earn - Shows the ways to earn points you've set up in the app admin. Logged in customers can earn points here for social media actions and provide their birthday
Love: Ways to Redeem - Shows the ways to redeem rules you've set up in the app admin. Logged in customers can redeem rewards here

If you want you can add any of these app blocks to your home page or any other pages where they could be relevant.

Customer account pages

Show your customer's loyalty point balance, ways to earn and ways to redeem in their customer account.

Both (New) Customer accounts and Legacy customer accounts are supported.

(New) Customer accounts

The following 3 app blocks are available in (New) Customer accounts:

Point balance block: Show the current loyalty point balance of your customer on the Orders and Profile pages in their account. Set up steps: Customer Account: Point balance on Orders & Profile pages
Loyalty Account Page block: Dedicated page within customer accounts with all the loyalty program information like point balance, available rewards and ways to earn. Set up steps: Customer Account Loyalty Page
Points earned block: Show the number of points earned for a given order on the Order Status page. Set up steps: Customer Account: Points earned Order Status Page


Legacy customer accounts

Show the point balance of your customer, available rewards and ways to earn points at their account page.

Product page

To increase conversion rates on product pages you can show customers the number of loyalty points they'll receive if they purchase the given product.

Checkout

Checkout blocks are only available for Shopify Plus merchants

Redeem rewards at Checkout

Let customers redeem rewards right at Checkout by adding the "Redeem rewards" block in the checkout editor.

Points earned at Checkout

To increase conversion rate at checkout you can show customers the number of loyalty points they'll receive if they complete the purchase.
