Cart drawer & page

The cart block lets your customers see their current point balance and redeem their points in the cart.

The block can be activated by turning on the Love Loyalty app embed in the theme editor.

Dedicated Loyalty page

The dedicated loyalty page is a "Landing page" for the loyalty program that you can link to from anywhere on your website, emails and social media.

It consists of 4 app blocks:

Love: Hero Banner - Shows a brief overview of the program and encourages new users to join the program. Logged in customers can see their point balance, the ways to earn and ways to redeem here

Overview

You can use Klaviyo to send marketing emails related to the loyalty program to grow your returning customer base.

Recommended emails

Loyalty points earned: Send an email each time a customer earns loyalty points and highlight the rewards they can get. It's a great way to make your customers feel valued and encourage them to make a new purchase
Reward redeemed: Send an email confirming that they redeemed a reward
Point expiry: If you have point expiry set up send a reminder 7-days before the points expire to encourge your customers to make a purchase to prevent loosing their points
Celebrate Birthday: If you have the "Birthday points" earning rule set up you can send an email on the customer's birthday wishing them a happy birthday and highlighting the the points you rewarded them

How to set up?

You can integrate Love Loyalty with Klaviyo through our Shopify Flow triggers. You can use these triggers to create a Shopify Flow automation that automa- tically sends an event to Klaviyo which you can use to build email flows in Klaviyo as usual.

Follow these steps to create a "Loyalty points earned" email automation:

In the Shopify admin go to "Customers"
On the Customers page search for the customer you want to add points to
Click the name of the customer and then adjust their available point balance in the "Loyalty program points" metafield
Save the changes

Add points to customers in bulk

In the Shopify admin go to "Customers"
Select the customers where you want to add points to

Click "Bulk edit" on the top right
In the bulk editor click "Columns" on the top right and select the "Loyalty program points" metafield

Adjust the point balances in bulk
Save the changes

Creating Loyalty Page

Overview

You can create a dedicated Loyalty Page for your loyalty program to encourage your customers to join the program. You can think about it as a "Landing page" for the loyalty program that you can link from anywhere on your website, emails and social media.

In a nutshell you can create a Loyalty Page the following way:

Create a new loyalty page template in the theme editor
Add the Love loyalty page app blocks to this template
In Online store > Pages create a new page and assign it to the template you created
(Optional) Add the loyalty page to your main menu

Creating the Loyalty page template

Follow these steps to create a new page template for your Loyalty Page:

Open the theme editor
In the top middle navigate to "Pages" and click the "Create template" button

Add a name to your template (this is not going to be visible for your customers)
Save the changes

Add the Love loyalty page app blocks to the template

Once you've created a new page template you need to add the Love Loyalty app blocks to it. We offer 4 app blocks that make up the Loyalty Page:

Where can I see the point balance of a customer?

See the point balance for a single customers

In the Shopify admin go to "Customers"
On the Customers page search for the customer
Click the name of the customer, their point balance is visible in the "Loyalty Program Points" metafield

See the point balance of all the customers

In the Shopify admin go to "Customers"
Select all the customers

Click "Bulk edit" on the top right
In the bulk editor click "Columns" on the top right and select the "Loyalty program points" metafield. The point balance will be visible in this column
