Setting up the Place an order earning rule



You can reward loyalty points to customers after they make a purchase on your webshop the following way:

Go to the "Loyalty program" page in the app
In the "Ways to earn" section click the "Add way to earn" button and select "Place an order" from the list


Provide the title of the earning rule which will be visible for the customers on the storefront
Select the method to reward points after the orders. You can either reward points based on the amount spent or reward a fix number of points after each order
Set the number of points to be rewarded per amount spent or per order


Save the changes

When are the points rewarded?

By default the points are rewarded when the order is paid. You can change this to reward points when the order is fulfilled by checking in the "Reward points when the order is fulfilled" checkbox on the Place an order earning rule edit page. Can I exclude shipping and/or taxes from point calculation?

Yes. Go to the "Loyalty program" page in the app and on the right you can select to exclude taxes and/or shipping from the point calculation. You can find detailed steps here: Exclude shipping and taxes from awarding points

What currency do you use to calculate the points?

The point calculation is based on your store's main currency.

Are guest customers earn points?

Yes, customers will earn points after an order even if they didn't created an account yet. However to use their points they will need to create an account on your webshop.
